In China, people with color vision deficiency are often mislabeled as “color-blind,” which limits access to color-critical jobs like design or engineering. This stigma also makes many individuals afraid of revealing their condition at work.

What I designed?

An AR eyewear app that identifies colors in real time, providing accurate names, codes, and AI-assisted tools to help designers and other professionals with color vision deficiency work confidently.

What can TrueHue do?

Color Finder enables precise color recognition from both screens and real-world objects, using Bluetooth or eye-tracked AR scanning without the need for an external camera.

AI Analyze will analyze the interface and offer detailed color analyze and offer suggestions.

What's cool is that images to analyze can be directly crop from user's view

Users can explore community color palettes, each paired with interface examples and ready-to-copy color values for use in other software.

They can also upload images to generate AI-assisted palettes.
